    Overview

With the continuous development and progress of society, my country's urban power grid has undergone tremendous changes. Most cities have formed or are forming power load-intensive areas. The previous power supply from the substation 12/24kV line (or branch line) to the direct user end can no longer meet the requirements of urban development, so a new power supply method through switching has emerged.

NY6-12 (V, C, PT) /630-25, BD-163 integrated primary and secondary ring network switchgear and station terminals are intelligent complete sets of equipment launched in response to the requirements of the State Grid Standard "Technical Standards for Primary and Secondary Equipment of Power Distribution". They are complete sets of equipment that integrate electromagnetic voltage and current transformers, electric energy metering modules, high-speed fault transient waveforms and other advanced technologies.

It consists of a ring inlet and outlet unit, a feeder unit, a busbar equipment (PT) unit, a centralized DTU and connecting cables. It can collect active power, reactive power, power factor, frequency, zero-sequence current and zero-sequence voltage, and has line loss metering, electric energy metering, line voltage identification, voltage over-limit, load over-limit and other alarm sending, short-circuit fault detection and processing, single-phase grounding fault detection and processing functions, and supports the sending of short-circuit/grounding fault events to meet the needs of distribution network automation.

    Key Features

Based on the traditional DTU function, the metering-level distribution line loss collection function is added, the judgment and positioning function of small current grounding fault is optimized, the sampling frequency is increased, and the fault recording is more accurate. The waveform is closer to the real waveform.

    Line Loss Collection
The distribution line loss collection module realizes interval electric energy collection. Real-time measurement of positive/negative active power and four-quadrant reactive power supports two-way metering and positioning.
    Grounding Fault Judgment
By analyzing data from phase and zero-sequence current transformers, the control unit uses advanced algorithms to identify characteristic quantities and accurately locate small current grounding faults.
    High-Accuracy Recording
Samples 128 points per cycle, completely recording 4 pre-fault and 8 post-fault cycles alongside remote signals. Supports cyclic storage of up to 64 recordings.

    Product Features

Adapts to feeder automation requirements, using line voltage as the judgment criterion.
On-site fault handling via delayed closing and protection, running battery-free without master station reliance.
Design eliminates system instability caused by high-maintenance components like batteries.
The distribution network automation system features clear functions and easy operation.
Frequently operated load switches/circuit breakers satisfy automated and economical grid operation.
Employs SF6 pole-mounted circuit breakers or vacuum circuit breakers for optimal arc extinguishing or insulation.

Reliable sealing performance with one-step tooling mold molding technology, ensuring high box airtightness.
Built-in isolation fracture and vacuum interrupter connected in series with asynchronous linkage for high safety.
Main circuit, secondary circuit, and operating mechanism are sealed in SF6 gas, rendering them unaffected by external environments.

    Frequently Asked Questions

What is the NY6-12 integrated primary and secondary ring network switchgear?
It is an intelligent complete set of equipment designed to meet State Grid Standards. It integrates electromagnetic voltage and current transformers, electric energy metering modules, and high-speed fault transient waveforms to provide efficient urban power distribution.
Does the switchgear require battery maintenance?
No, the design eliminates the need for batteries, removing risks of system instability caused by maintenance-heavy components. Feeder automation functions operate independently using line voltage.
How does the system identify and locate grounding faults?
The control unit analyzes data collected from phase current transformers and zero-sequence current transformers, using multiple advanced algorithms to identify characteristic quantities and pinpoint the fault area accurately.
What are the environmental protection ratings of this equipment?
It features an IP67 protection rating, military-grade aviation interfaces, a fully sealed three-phase box-type layout, and mature shell sealing technology, making it highly weather-resistant and anti-condensation.
How long can the switchgear run without maintenance?
It is designed to be maintenance-free for at least 15 years. The main circuit, secondary circuit, and operating mechanism are entirely sealed in SF6 gas, protecting them completely from the external environment.
