China's Lingsheng has set a new world record for computing power

 According to a report by CCTV News,China's supercomputer ranks first globally again,on June 23rd, the ISC2026 Conference (International Supercomputing Conference) in Hamburg, Germany, released the global supercomputer Top500 list. The "Lingsheng" supercomputer, which is fully developed and independently researched in China, topped the global supercomputer TOP500 with a sustained double-precision floating-point performance of 2.19EFlops (10¹⁸floating-point operations per second).Nine years later, China's supercomputer once again ranks first globally. Since its deployment, "Lingsheng" has supported applications in various fields such as atmospheric and oceanic science, engineering simulation, materials science, drug discovery, neuroscience, scientific AI, and large model inference, facilitating mixed-precision computing, workflows, and parallel execution of complex multi-tasks.
