Basic protection requirements

- Indoor environment: The protection level should not be lower than IP21 (protection against solid foreign objects ≥12.5mm, protection against vertical dripping water).
- Outdoor environment: It must meet IP54 or above standards (dust-proof, splash-proof), and the cabinet body must adopt anti-corrosion spray painting process. Outdoor remote I/O cabinets also need to be designed with anti-condensation heaters and other features.
Adaptation to special environments
- Explosion-proof scenario: In outdoor flammable and explosive environments, flameproof enclosures or positive pressure explosion-proof cabinets are required.
- Seismic design: The equipment must withstand an earthquake intensity of magnitude 8, and the cable routing strictly separates power lines from signal lines (with a spacing >20cm).
Power facilities: case of outdoor dedicated equipment
- Grounding Resistance Cabinet: It is divided into indoor and outdoor models. The outdoor model is equipped with wall bushing and lifting rings, supports extreme temperatures ranging from -40℃ to 55℃, has a protection level of IP55, and can be equipped with an intelligent monitoring module for real-time feedback of operational data.
- Redundant configuration: The PLC of critical power equipment (such as transformer neutral point control system) requires redundant design to ensure automatic switching to a safe state in case of failure.
Key precautions
- Industrial equipment: It is required to pass Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and undergo regular inspections of the grounding system and module status during the operation and maintenance phase.
