 According to a report by CCTV News,the "15th Five-Year Plan for the Construction of a New Energy System" proposes to enhance the electrification level of energy consumption for people's livelihood, with the per capita annual electricity consumption reaching 1,500 kWh by 2030. What changes will there be in people's electricity, heating, and heating supply in the next five years?

 

Charge

  • Improve the charging infrastructure that is complementary in speed, smart, and open, with the goal of achieving 40 million charging facilities by 2030, representing a doubling of the current number.
  • Build a charging infrastructure network featuring urban area layout, highway linear layout, and rural point layout.
  • Build an intercity charging network that effectively meets the medium- and long-distance travel needs of electric vehicles.
  • Increase the proportion of fast charging facilities.
  • Explore applicable scenarios for battery swapping facilities based on local conditions.

 

Heating and heating supply

  • Promote the construction of regional heating systems targeting cities and industrial parks, and strengthen the organic integration of non-fossil energy heat sources with existing heating systems.
  • Promote the active development of distributed green and low-carbon heating in remote areas.
  • Strengthen the guarantee of urban gas supply.
  • Promote diversified clean heating in northern regions.
  • Actively develop non-fossil energy heating, increase the intensity of waste heat recovery and utilization, and promote the application of heat pumps according to local conditions.

 

Urban energy infrastructure

  • Coordinately plan urban energy infrastructure such as electricity, heat, and gas, and promote the renovation and upgrading of urban gas pipelines, heating pipelines, and non-grid direct supply to residential areas.

 

Rural power supply

  • Build village-level photovoltaic poverty alleviation power stations tailored to local conditions, and standardize the development of models such as agriculture-photovoltaic complementarity and animal husbandry-photovoltaic complementarity.
  • Strengthen the construction and renovation of power grids in rural areas where natural disasters occur frequently, power supply capacity is insufficient, and large power grids are not yet covered.
  • Explore ways to enhance the self-balancing capacity of energy within county regions and promote the pilot construction of micro-grid systems in villages and towns.
  • We will further promote the rural energy revolution and innovate the development and utilization of clean energy in rural areas.
