The export of electric power equipment has surged,the core driving force comes from the wave of global AI data center construction and the demand for grid upgrades,leveraging its production capacity, delivery speed, and advantages across the entire industry chain, China has emerged as a key supplier of power equipment globally.

▪Impressive export data:In 2025, China's total export value of transformers reached 64.6 billion yuan,an increase of nearly 36% year-on-year,January-February 2026,the export value of high-power transformers reached 4.4 billion yuan,a year-on-year increase of 61%,the overall export of power equipment increased by 33.69% year-on-year.

▪Explosive growth in exports to the United States:In the first two months of 2026, China's exports of high-power transformers to the United States surged by 182% year-on-year,the average price also rose by 6%.In the first 10 months of 2025, the United States imported over 8,000 related equipment units from China.

▪The core market has a huge gap:The United States faces challenges due to the aging of its power grid and the surge in electricity consumption for AI computing power,superimpose the insufficient local production capacity,the delivery cycle of high-power transformers has been extended to 5 years,the delivery cycle in China is about 10 months,Chinese enterprises can complete delivery within 3 to 6 months at the fastest, and some enterprises have orders scheduled until the end of 2027.

▪The global transformer production capacity can only meet about 90% of the demand,the gap between supply and demand is close to 10 percentage points,North America becomes the largest incremental market,in October 2025, exports of transformers to North America increased by 154% year-on-year,+173% compared to the United States alone.
